I have been wanting Papa John's pizza for several weeks now. I finally broke down and decided to give in tonight to what I wanted. 1 slice counts as 2 starches, 1 meat, and 1 fat. It is all about how I disperse the rest of my starches, meats, and fats throughout the day. I have told you before, it's not good to abstain completely from something or you're more likely to binge later. So, I decided tonight I may as well just try it and see how the scale goes tomorrow! LOL, you know what the funny thing is? It's not as good as I remembered it. We used to have it every Friday night in our house growing up. I don't know if it's because I just haven't had it in so long and I no longer like the taste of greasy pizza or if they changed their recipe? Either way both my husband and I agreed that it just wasn't as good as it used to be. I had my slice and that was sufficient. I no longer want it now that I've had it!
